The answer to this is given in many Indian philosophies. The one we call "me myself and I" is beyond all thoughts emotions and experiences. Whatever may be the answer it can't be told in words , it has to be experienced only. If anyone is interested , you can listen to "Nirvana shatakam" by adi Shankaracharya which seperates the "I" from what "I" is not. Not a philosopher just curious :)

And the feeling that you are an experiencer is also just appearing in consciousness. There is just experience.

अहम् ब्रह्मस्मि : Aham Brahmasmi which means I am the eternal consciousness. It's originally is from Upanishads - Hindu Scriptures. Was propagated by Bhagwan Shiva Avatar Adi Shankaracharya (Bhagwan Shiva also called Yoginath - God of Yoga is the Hindu deity who has given/taught Yoga.

Yes and even it's mentioned how Bhramins are superior over lower caste people in Upnishads. Shut up kid and keep your stupid ideologies with yourself. These people even never let education accesible to non Bhramins and these cartoons even claim of Nalanda and Takshasheela.

The heart beats, the brain thinks. However I’m not the beats of my heart, nor the thoughts of my brain. By the way, I love your app. Today was my 30 day streak!

Exactly the same topic I was thinking during todays morning walk. Even the conclusion that came to my mind was same. I don't know how but it might be fate that I downloaded Medito today and find the same exact thought of mine on the video banner

It’s like thinking life is a movie and we’re watching or part of the cast. That’s cool.

I feel the real challenge is being able to maintain that perspective through out the day

Have you went to Vipassana center for 10 days, i did a session of Vipassana long ago and will be going to my nearest Vipassana center 🙏

I went to a six day silent retreat, but it wasn't Vipassana. Six days felt long, so 10 days must be an interesting experience!

It's indeed an interesting question. Here's my thought, uh.. We're simple animals, if we r void of thoughts. And that says thinking is an ability of ours, which may have developed by our genes to get out of physical limitations. Hence, our existence is the thoughts which are created by our genes. In simple words, give our imagination a physic, and that's us. Oh my dear...! I went too far. 😂

Sir actually my final exams are going on so can you give me some tips that how I can always stay positive and deal with this exam stress ?
@Medito10 ай бұрын
When you are stressed about exams, make sure you still find time to practice mindfulness. It can be easy to skip the practice to get more time to study, but the more mindful you are, the better the studying will go! Also, don't try to push away the feelings of stress and anxiety, just notice the feelings with acceptance. There are some sessions on the app for students, including one about exam stress 😊
