The entire choir, the congregation, the great old hymns, the organ, and ESPECIALLY the piano! Sharon really CAN "make the piano and music "sing!" I "hunger" for that type of music and enthusiasm in a church service!

I love the praiseful voices of this great choir. This is a conservative Presbyterian who would love to hear this choir in person but I live far away. But one day we will fly away and meet all these praiseful singers.

Have just discovered this medley, and I plan to repeat it at my church next Sunday, 10/2/2022, which is a Regular Baptist Church, in Northern Virginia. fmhouston's music is just not the same without Sharon at the Steinway!!! She knows how to get around those ivories, and it blesses and thrills me!!!!

I shall never forget my father telling of how, when he was in the Air Corps during the war, he attended a Church of the Nazarene. Although our family was Methodist, it was close by and he could attend easily. He always loved that hymn and I always think of him when I hear it.

Indeed, Dr. Sharon Goldsberry is an excellent church pianist. Very few churches seem to enjoy that kind of playing anymore. The late Dr. Jay Whatley was superb and dearly missed. How I miss this kind of congregational singing!!
