She really does look like Madhubala and they were even born the same year. They also both died around the same time. Madhubala died in 1969 and Meena died in 1972! I have noticed that a lot of famous people used to die young back in the day.

A lot of old school pakistani/indian actresses were pretty well spoken because at that time shaahiri or poetry was really highly regarded. You weren't just a poet with words, it also meant you had mastered traditional urdu and hindi. It might not be a big deal for some but omg old school urdu is really difficult and is legitimately a challenge to understand. Anyway, thank you for all your research!

Never heard of her, but can certainly relate to her experience of being abandoned. As I was, by my mom and loss my dad recently loss my beloved adopted mom now parentless. Been a personally deeply sad time for me, 😢💔😔 some scars and wounds never heal. However, this was such an interesting breakdown and mini bio.
