We take out the Meepo Board for a review in the streets of London. Is this new cheap electric skateboard from china the Meepoboard as good as a boosted board for only $250 dollars?(board prices have increased since this video was made and price is excluding delivery with is a further $100 dollars) we test this board and find out!

Great review! I´m a skydiver, I also ride motorbikes and the Meepo board puts the same smile on my face every time I ride it. I weigh 85kg and it has no problems pushing me up even steeper hills with a decent amount of speed. I agree with you on the remote, but it´s still comfortable to hold. When you compare it to what other brands include in the box this price is outstanding.

It almost looked like you liked this board better than the M1. If you would have kept it in slow mode you could have gone farther?

I'm more interested to know which meepo this is as the specs he mentions are really low values compared to my v1.5 meepo, however this one in the video looks alot better but specs are slower. Unless its because ei have a custom 10s3p 30q Samsung battery pack with 40A bms. I get upto 18 miles distance and 28 mph speed

Only reason Booster is more flexible then Meepo is size, if meepo was pretty much the same size.. it would flex exactly as booster..When people buy E Long board, they start comparing etc OFC! buy MEEPO is as good as booster. Only problem is it doesn't last as long as booster, when it comes to charge, speed, and flexible...+ Flexible of the board doesn't really matters much.

This thing is now $420!! Very disappointed with Meepo on the price increase. They are slowly leaving the arena of (affordable boards). I understand there have been a few upgrades but they are playing the fine line for people like who will not buy at a price tag north or $400. Love to see this thing drop back down to the $275 range! Nice video though!

Shipping cost and original price has gone up at least twice since you ordered your board, shipping time has also gone up a few times. I expect this to continue until the holiday season is over. I wish I bought a few when the price was low, waited for them to ship then sold them in my country to people that are less patient.

at the time 250$ would have cost you an eight of a bitcoin, if you would have saved that 1/8th coin today it would be worth about $500 so no, it would have "cost" you more if you were able to pay in bitcoin. If you would have taken what you spent on the meepo board (350$ w/shipping at the time 7/20ish) and spent that on bitcoin you would have made enough to buy 2 meepo boards today

Well the fact that I would have had to spend 1/8th of a bit coin which I already owned in coinbase assuming I didn't spend it on anything else, that 1/8th bit coin would have grown in value hence the (opportunity) cost of not owning the 1/8 th of a bitcoin over that period would have been greater than the original cost $250... if you wish to get technical lol :)

watched your vid and bought the wowgo board. ( same sh#t quicker delivery). Horrible ride with stock deck. Concave deck wtf! took the plunge and board swapped my wowgo board. Got to say, wow what a difference. it's now rideable. Best move ever. Those on a budget and don't want to pay out for an extra board just flip the board over. Concave deck is how it should of been. heads up! Wowgo now sell boards with convex decks and better battery. Hmmm! I'm all over London with this deck having a jolly good time.

The issue with the backfire is they have recently downgraded the battery (see website) and the performance may not be as good. Will review new backfire model soon! :)

Yes but I never include shipping and tax, I didn't with any other review (yes meepo have put profit on by increasing delivery since this video and others increased demand). Just before I ordered it was $199 with 60 delivery I think its clear the meepo price is going up... check my onyx review :)
