Congratulations young mom ! The two cents of an old dad (with bilingual childs): If you want August to be bilingual (which is a real advantage for him) you should take care to talk to him mostly in Swedish, and buy as much Swedish child books as you can, so he will read Swedish as well ! Even if his first words will be Swedish, don't worry he will be fluent in English anyways. Your family most used language should be English, so he will get it too. To learn early two languages will help his development a lot ! Best wishes to the whole family !
