Meet Morgan Wallen’s Baby Boy’s Birth Mother

Surprise! Morgan Wallen is a dad. The country singer announced the arrival of his first child, a son, on Monday night (July 13), via Instagram.
Indigo "Indie" Wilder was born on Friday (July 10), his father shares; according to an Instagram post from his mom, Katie Smith, he was born weighing 6 lbs., 13 oz.

I follow both Morgan and Katie on Instagram and I just think this title and video is a little offensive and definitely doesn’t give her enough credit! Morgan is involved, but Indie is with Katie every single day. She’s a single mom and “birth mother” makes it sound like she gave birth to Indie and gave him to someone else. As a mom, I definitely would not have liked it, and she’s expressed that it is hard getting comments referring to her as “baby momma.”

I also heard they were going to breakup, things were getting rocky, then she found out she was pregnant so they decided to split up but keep the baby. A good parent wakes up from their self centered life and says what Morgan Did. I partied hard from 14 to my 30s. Then my kids came. Some parents step up to the plate some fall or run.... Lots of good times but it's hard as hell.... When they hit 3-5 and you realize what you do they imulate and when they go somewhere with someone else, school, friends, grand parents house, how they act represents how good of a parent you've been so far.... Keep that in mind. And if you had shitty parents break the cycle and be everything to them yours never were to you....
