Chihuahas are The Greatest! I just let my little Lexie go on July 13th -18 :( so heartbroken. she was 16.5. She was my first dog/animal and in her memory will get another Chihuahua perhaps 2 some day soon. Jake is so handsome! Cherish! Take lots n lots of videos and pics with him. cherish every moment. Take care of his dental always and give him holistic foods. Lexie always stole pizza from the table she loved pepperoni.. Jake is precious. Sweet lil guy. :0)

Oh, Jake!!! You handsome little man. Thank you Mom and Dad for sharing this guy with us for he makes me smile remembering my own baby, Queenie. Her antics were classic. She lived up to her name but you are right about having to work hard in order to join their "club" but once you do, it's a friend for life. I miss my little lady everyday but seeing vids such as Jake's reinforce how special they really are. Thank you, Jake!!!

Funny thing about Chihuahuas and me; most of my life I was an electrician that had to deal with the customers' in their home, and some times they would have one of those little, loud mouth dogs that would sneak up behind you and nip at your feet or ankles. Always thought about carrying a 12 or 10 gauge shotgun to end that little buggers unhappiness. Well, I retired about 12 years ago and guess what? I now have not 1, BUT TWO of those little buggers!!! lol Both males, Charley (our first one) and Paco who we've had now for about 5 months. They are family to us; I actually call them my two sons....lol I'm a cancer survivor and Charley watched out after me during those days that I would start throwing up; he'd go running to my wife barking and she knew then that I was sick. And Paco, we rescued him off the roads; he had a bad puncture wound and taking him to the vet for treatment. What goes around, comes around.

Rafdavfl... I know !!! I told my mom we got a Chihuahua at the shelter and she was upset because her biggest nightmare is about a bulgy eyed tiny dog the bites her ankles. In less than a minute our dog was on her lap and she was in love with her. Our Chihuahua is a bit larger . Best loyal, hillarious dog we've ever had!. My mom did ask how the dog can walk around on those chopstick legs. 😅

lynn 199012345 my homeless chihuahua X turned up at our front door too,we found out that he had been tortured for two years. My husband was adamant that we weren’t having any more bloody dogs! 11 years later and my little mate hasn’t spent a single night off our bed, I even have to buy Jack coloured sheets and doona covers. Marriage is all about compromise. Haha 😃

lol My husband sand I had to sleep in separate beds becuase of our little dogs . I used to have a chihuahua mix terrier, when we shave his hair, he looked like a giant chihuahua lol .he attacked quietly and then from behind the heel /leg bites any trespasser .He had a record and was on probation once.He was a fierce little guy . killed 4 possum in his lifetime.

Ive had mine since late June....she will be 7 months late Nov. I just love her. Her name is Dixie..she is a tea cup and jet black, Her 2 brothers look like Jake. She really likes to burrow and is a foodie like Jake lol. I love how she bats a the back of mt legs when following me. My wife talks to her and she just tils her head like she is really listening. And they are so smart...have good dna which lets them life 16 years an beyond.

My girlfriend and I just watched your video and loved it! We have a 3 1/2 year old short hair female Chihuahua named Gemma. The similarities between her and Jake are astonishing. Gemma LOVES to burrow under the covers and sleep between my legs or between us in bed. (her favorite) She no doubt sleeps for 15 hours a day if we let her and loves laying on her back getting belly scratches. We just wanted to say thank you for the upload, it made us smile!

Nick DeHart my chihuahua baby loves snuggling in bed too !! The nomadic Aztec populations brought chihuahua with them- the dogs were used to keep their feet warm at night :) makes sense now why chihuahuas love to cuddle !

Jake is so cute! I've never liked small dogs. Because when I thought "small dog" I thought 'chihuahua'. And I never liked them because of my misconception that they shake a lot and I thought they looked weird. But four months ago I took in a puppy who's a shih tzu chihuahua mix. And I'm in love. She's my best friend and the sweetest dog ever. Everyone who meets her loves her because she loves to love. She love to be held and to cuddle and lick people's faces. There is a lady in my building who considers herself my puppy's 'aunt'. I honestly never saw myself having a small dog, especially a chihuahua. But now I'd happily get another one. 💜

The Rott puts up with their dominating. They rule the house . Spoiled Rotten. I call them the Rat Pack.

Jake is so cute and looks similar to my Lady Chihuahuas are so special. I had not had a really small dog until we rescued Lady from an abusive former owner. She was in such bad shape the vet said she should be put down. She was blind in one eye and only weighted 2 lbs as a fully grown adult dog. It was been a year. She will always have vision issues in her left eye and has put on weight but that doesn't stop her from taking on life full on. She can more than hold her own with the other two larger dogs in our home. She is such a joy and makes my life better Sorry so long and thank you. Paula

Lovely video. My mom always had several Chihuahuas and I found them annoying until I accidentally ended up with one. Mine is now 6 yrs old and he is a great companion. Ony thing about our Maxie is that he hated dog food from the get go, so he eats unseasoned boiled chicken and occasionally beef. I wish we would of insisted he eat dog food, lol. Mine looks just like yours. I can imagine how sad it is tho lose them. As long as make their life a happy and loving one it's worth the pain.
