You can see how this lady progressed over the years with what an Akita truly looks like. I’ve gone through the same thing. My beautiful bitch was invited to Westminster twice but my husband got sick and we couldn’t go. I have had Akitas since 1982. I bred to the No: 1 Akita in America twice. I had 6 and I’m down to 1. I can’t get another until he’s gone. He’s 13 and in magnificent shape. Park everyday, balanced human meal 4 times daily. Good luck mam!
