I see this is for attorneys but what about an old school pro-per advocates? We need one for the little guy who must fight cases that trial attorneys won't touch due to such high costs of litigation. We need something like this for pro-per filers to save costs by just having documents reviewed. Be interesting to see where AI is at a year or two down the road when ready to file and take my new cause to trial.

What happens when your attorney being your attorney is a conflict of interest? Because he is the attorney for the county and the county is taking me to court? What happens when your attorney advises you to allow the root cause of your son's cataracts to gain custody of your son?

AI's integration into law will be dynamic and ongoing for a long time. Law obeys policy and policy obeys values and needs of people. The latter will change as AI invades consumer life. Laws will adopt. AI may also change how leguslation is made and stored. Imagine if every law were required to have parameters for intent and analysis. All those lawsuits about meaning of statutes would be minimized. Judge's role will be transformed and those year long lawsuits may be disposed in minutes. To the extent law can be coded and quickly analized and settles, need for lawyers will be greatly diminished. Give it 30 years.
