This is a great interview, so much information in 30 mins. I love Mark's modules, and their service is awesome, you know he's been doing it for a while!

I always enjoy hearing what Mark has to say, he's a great student / master of synthesizers.

I'm not a modular user (yet), but I've always been impressed by Verbos' design ethos. If anything ever makes me commit to building a modular rig it will be Verbos' unique sounds.

I have no idea cause i don't have the ability to get into modular atm, but what might be some key differences between a 5v and 10v EG? as discussed in possible standardising of eurorack..

I think the solution to the patching problem might possibly be partially solved with better patch cable design, and rails for routing the cables themselves, rather than having them hanging loosely about and in the way of everything.

Synthesizers were cheap to buy in the 90's, but recording gear was super expensive. If you wanted to record an album you had to take out a 2nd mortgage on your house.
@kijaniband12788 жыл бұрын
does he have huge hands?
@sonicstate8 жыл бұрын
No, must have been the wide angle.
@marike11008 жыл бұрын
When you use a wide angle lens up close, it exaggerates features. So foreground objects appear huge and background objects tiny. Donald Trump should buy a GoPro for his tiny hands.

Mark seems cool but I could do with less explanation of his philosophy and more explanation of how his shit works.
