11:18 100% i too started to sell PC in the late 90's after college i think linen cards are way undervalued i do have my ideas why this is i think its like any collectible the collectors that were collecting those at that time late 90's early 2000's unfortunately have died off and right now for some reason there is just not enough interest in linen cards like there was in the that time period but like Mike i wont lower my prices on linen cards because after you see and experience what they sold for in that era (late 90's early 2000's) its like no i cant lower them just because the current collectors do not value them as much as the ones back then i do agree too once you get a comfort level with any type of inventory there is more luxury to stay pat so to say on prices. Great interview!

Mike is a genuinely awesome guy. I had the chance to meet him at the last show he did. The amount of friendliness and knowledge coming from him is top tier. Mike you're the best. Keep up the great work. Thanks again.

Great comments about treating the person selling a collection fairly. I've always done that with my buys and I can't count the times I have gotten repeat business over time by explaining what they have, what they could sell it for themselves and what I'm willing to pay as a fair offer. This has provided me with a constant supply of 1000-2000 cards being bought each and every month this way...

Great interview! I have a cat as well and he screams at me to get up if he thinks that I have been in bed for too long.

Such a good interview. One can't fake being genuine and I believe this guy really enjoys what he is doing. I love it.

Lots of valuable information in this conversation. I resell full time and 'dabble' in postcards, but it's a niche that I enjoy thoroughly. Pricing the more rare / unique cards requires a learning curve and I have definitely undersold a few over the years as well. Gotta view reselling as a never-ending learning experience. Both of y'all are new faces to me, so it's always nice to hear different perspectives within the biz - I'll be looking out for more videos!

I remembered when i changed from auction to buy it now. At first it was painful but over time it was the right decision.

Daniel - great interview, thanks for sharing. What's the significance of the Rollercoaster Tycoon picture behind you. Favorite game of yours? Huge rollercoaster fan in general?

My favorite game of all time! I started playing when I was a kid, and still play it to this day occasionally. Just a super fun game. I actually hate roller coasters in real life, just love the game!

I started with about 3,000 modern-day cards before started on eBay in January. By April I probably have 15k-20k cards. I only posted about 1300 cards on eBay. I want to post 5-10k more before I buy more to keep up. If I do buy cards it will be rare and high-end. artist sign or Halloween.

Nice interview guys! Love hearing about the "early days" of eBay. I thought I was one of the last ones left that remembered it!

I found 2 Halloween cards in a $1 box at an antique store before I knew about how popular they were and a Clapsaddle.

Great show! Some Genius level tactics…. Pay a kid to have YOUR CHEAP BOXES mislabeled as “PREMIUM” at a show, thousands of cards, and have him state they were his grandfather’s collection and he has no idea of value so he’s offering them for $1-2 each. All the rats will scour to find that holy Grail only to leave you alone at every other table inside the event ! 🤔😂❤
