I feel like as a long time player of this game this desire to create a bot for the game is like Dr. Frankenstein creating a monster that this community doesn't understand. You're paving the way for the world of cheaters to continue flooding the game. I don't think this game is even remotely close to having the coding to track and ban carefully alternated software and with Bakkes mod it's true that there is a way to have a 3rd party program running alongside the game itself without conflict. I get it, it's fascinating to watch, but I'm also worried about the directions that OTHER people will take this Frankenstein Monster and turn RL into a cesspool of skepticism about whether you're facing real players or programs, and this in addition to the ungodly rampant smurfing issue cannot be healthy for the game's future. Being FTP creates an environment already infested with players that have 2, 3, 4, and more alternative accounts so they can do what? Play with lower ranked friends? Not always the case. Having a stat tracker up allows me to see in just my own realm about 1 out of every 4 games will have someone with less than 300 wins on that account while they are magically already queueing into GC2, NOBODY can pick this game up and have 300 wins AND be GC2. That doesn't happen in real life. So, between the already massive issue of smurf accounts I really am skeptical of choosing to push this literal bot's development which can only prove to give cheaters and those that would purchase bots eyes as wide as dinner plates and a salivating desire to ruin a game because of their personal strife and issues. This is just my opinion as someone with over 4k hours on ONE account only who is also sitting in the upper echelons of the rank distribution. I also think SSL ranks don't see this problem because they are literally ranked above the issue so it's hard to get those voices on board with this idea
@badateverything2931 Жыл бұрын
at least pysonix has banned public releasing of other high level bots, so the cheater would have to somehow obtain or make the bot himself

Unfortunately most machine learning ends ups up with bots that focus on the safest plays, but there is one developer that is currently trying to push his bot to be able to pull out advanced mechanics when needed. It's called Opti, you can watch it train here: www.twitch.tv/kaiyotech I will most likely be featuring it in a video when it is done.

@@Rocket_Sledge if that's the case, there will probably be a bot that nobody can beat before the end of this year!

I'm gonna sound crazy for this, but just imagine a police queue. Seer teams up with psyonix and whenever a bot account is detected it falls into the police queue and has to face Seer. That'd be soooo funny.

If this bot gets into online Competitive playlists like Nexto, we're all screwed.

I can see how this would be sooo good to practice with so u get used to higher level plays ..instead of asking ur high level friend constantly to play with u
