She seems a really genuine spirit. So glad because I was going into this thinking, oh another rich person expounding upon their wealth.

I've read about this once in the newspaper over a decade ago and I thought to myself, "How lucky this woman is! I wondered if I'll have the opportunity to experience something similar to living here, in this iconic, historic, beautiful space, that also comes with an everyday view of a once-in-a-life-time sunset. Such a pipe dream..." And the more I thought about this, the cooler the story became. The fact that the family that lived here for 20 years was a woman and her two young children. She became more relatable. A female on top of her world, raising her children! The pipe dream was no longer, it had inched just enough over the line to possible realities. I'm really curious about the perspectives that her children will have once they become adults. I'm hopeful, though, with a mother like her, if what is portrayed here is in fact an accurate representation of the truth; which I'd like to believe, is.

So sad that she lost the lease. The video of the newly remodeled apartment destroyed all the charm she put into it;

Would have been nice to hear WHY she wanted to live there, the history behind the space, WHO she is, WHY she holds events there, etc.

Beautiful unique space in a truly classy historic building. But my god the area around that building is a cesspool. I guarantee she doesn't allow those children to walk around the building. Unless they are looking to score heroin.

Yup...She married well...older videos included her husband...guess what...they got divorced, she got the unique home...Notice that the interviewers never ask her about "daddy", where he is, etc.

Also...be a socialite, network a lot, marry a wealthy guy, then get a lucrative divorce.
