Here I am with the promised essay! - You were probably very confused when this Atsuko girl showed up, right? This is another example of "Genshin assuming things TM". Before this archon quest, Atsuko only shows up in a very minor world quest. Since Inazuma's quests began months after the last Liyue archon quest, Genshin assumed that everyone would have played that world quest already, so they didn't bother introducing her again. With playable or important characters they do tend to change the scene to introduce a character that the player hasn't met before, but not everytime and definetly not with these NPC's. - Here it is, the ultimate genshin boss, something that challenges you in game and awakens your deepest real life problems: burocracy! I felt chills down my spine just listening to all the requirements and documentation necessary to enter Inazuma. Also, you're correct! Inazuma is based in Japan and its geaography does follow its pattern. I'm not saying anything else about it because you'll see it soon. - You finally met Beidou and Kazuha! Both are between some of my favourite characters and very common in my party. I also love their dynamic. I am curious though, you said that Kazuha wasn't like you expected, how did you thought he would be? Also, Beigguang is a highly recognized ship in the community, don't be afraid about sharing your thoughts here. - It's very interesting that visions have been part of the stoyr for a while now but we are just starting to really question them? How do they work? Why do the gods give them to certain people? Do they truly come from the gods will? Are anemo boys condemed to lossing friends? Feel free to theorise. - It's good to have people that can give you advise about how to make better use of your characters, but some people confuse advise with monopolizing gameplay. If you get things done and have fun while playing then you have a good team. Of, course, if we notice that you are missing something about a characters ability we'll point it out, but telling people to farm is sad. My builds suck, and I know it, but I don't care because I don't have time to deal with it. And that's totally fine. - Those two guys are getting scammed for sure, I feel bad for them. Also, "why does he have an anime protagonist voice?" Apparently because he believes himslef to be one. He needed that dose of reality. I also love Aether smug face when Paimon was hyping him up. The characters have been getting more expressive as the game improved and it's great. - The reason for the vision designed it's not really deep. It's not a spoiler because it doesn't really get mentioned in game but if you don't wanna find out through a comment don't read this part. The desing of the vision depends on the region said character lives in. Monstad character share the same design (with one exception, guess who?) and so do Liyue characters (except Child because he's actually from Snezhnaya). The reason why you hadn't seen that design before was... well, because you hadn't seen any Inazuma characters before. - It's always interesting how the characters don't really question Paimon's nature. They aren't familiar with her but they don't pay much attention to it. You do get these offhanded comments sometimes, like Kazuha's in this case, and they always catch a lot of attention. Not goona say anything else in this regard. - For some reason, Genshin sometimes takes... interesting choices in angle shots. They give an uncanny valley feeling, like someone else is observing. I've question myself in occasion if this is a poor choice or has a meaningfull purpose. - I don't know if you figured it out at the end, but you can turn off the request for entering your world. It's on the multiplayer section. Well, I think this is everything. I felt a bit bad for hyping entering Inazuma for you when I knew full well that it wasn't the time yet. But it will be soon! Enjoy.

Game: Don't use your magic powers fighting unarmed men, that would be unfair. Also Game: Totally use your sword though.

finally the long journey in the Inazuma Archon Quest starts! first thing first, you missed a bunch of events where Beidou and Ningguan direct interaction was.... HOT, to say the least. second, Beidou Va is also Acheron VA. Kaedehara Kazuha is, in both the lore and in game..... OP. like, stupidly OP. i got him and he powercreeps Venti, the damn Aenemo Archon! .....and i TOTALLY forgot about this tournament. completely erased from my memory... do not forget that masterless vision, it will return. the first part of the inazuma quest will be pretty boring... but it will be better after the first part. can't wait to see your first encounter with Raiden.. it will be epic.. eeheh

I remember when Inazuma first came out it was so fun! Also i thought i would share a fun fact that Ningguang actually awakened a vision, her vision didn't belong to her she found it and awakened it and also another less fun fact is that you can actually find Kazuhas friends grave in Inazuma and his little kitty is sitting there :( I cant wait to ee you play through Inazuma it's great!

Regarding Beidou and Ningguang: "Oh we can't make every character be..." Oh WE ABSOLUTELY CAN AND WILL, WHY NOT? Headcannons exist for a reason, and this is one is widely accepted within the community. If you read their voiceovers and watch a certain cutscene from a past Lantern Rite, you will be convinced. Don't reject your own headcannon, Hoyo will never approve nor deny any couple, so no one has the authority to declare your ship illegal, WE ARE FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Plus some of the Genshin ships are the cutest thing ever (you'll see when you arrive to Sumeru and Fontaine, if some characters don't make you research AO3 fanfics and Pinterest or Twitter for fanart, this community will have failed you). Concerning Inazuma... you will see when you get off the boat, you will find the greatest villain in Genhsin, PAPERWORK. Jokes apart, Inazuma will tell you interesting things about visions, elements and the Archons. I'm not saying anything, don't worry. Even though Inazuma is not the region with the most enthralling story (in my opinion), it still is quite interesting. If you have to deal with another Mei, just turn off Co-op or put them in your black list, specially if Genshin is not just a game you play for fun and it is something you work with. Some updates ago, Hoyo also gave us some kind of "focus mode" for quests, but I don't really get how it works. You might want to know how it works, it could be useful for you. We still are to meet an anemo boi whose friends are not dead btw. This "prologue" to Inazuma is okay, but let's see how your adventure goes through the land of thunder and eternity! Next AQ will be the islands for real.

Some people just don’t like to see people play differently from them. That person was probably just being rude, don’t worry too much. Like you say, you are strong enough to not be frustrated so it’s fine. I think as long as people are having fun and are able to clear the content then it shouldn’t matter. And giving advice can be fun and all but some people do it in such a rude way that wasn’t asked for and unfortunately, it happens all the time with games like this where you have to build characters. People act like there’s only one way to play or build a character. But that’s something that’s fun about genshin, you can build so many character’s so many different ways, there’s no “one way.” Sure, there is a “meta” or a way that is the most popular, but no reason to force it onto others.

don't be intimidated by anyone who wants to pass judgement on your battles. You don't want to turn into a player who spends 90% of the game obsessed with stats, do you? The game is easy enough. You don't have to be good at the game. You only have to be good at enjoying the game. (nb: there's an option to set coop (in big menu>coop) to automatically reject join requests if you don't want to be interrupted)
