LOL, realised that your right on not going that fast. But since your bike is "only" a 500 , and you push it to the max. It sounds like it's going really fast. Still, it's not slow either. And i see you know your bike inside out. Aslo good to see you slow down in neigborhoods ;)

the triple guy is counter leaning to increase lean angle in the corners as he's trying to heat up all usable surface on his tyres. Just my 2 cents.

@@Trautman44 Not ''the'' proper way, but ''a'' proper way. And it's just a very usable skill. For example, leaving a parking place and you directly need to go left or right.. you counter steer aswell.

His BP is kinda bad - leaning to the outside of the turn is not good practice.
@Schaaf9 жыл бұрын
+jusperknusper it's not bad. There are very good reasons to practice counter-leaning on public roads.
@MrHaymaker9 жыл бұрын
+Schaaf Can you elaborate? In slow speeds and easy corners I can understand the counter-lean. But in those hairpins, it is just not efficient imo.
@Schaaf9 жыл бұрын
+Mr Haymaker no one said it's efficient. Hang off is efficient regarding lean angle it takes and what corner speed you'll get. Riding on public roads doesn't need to be efficient. It should be safe. Counter leaning is perfectly safe as long as you're not moving your bikes in leans near its physical limits or when going too fast (which would be ~140kph with the Street Triple's standard suspension). The good reasons to do it: it allows for the quickest reactions to possible hazards on the road. And you're moving your body away from the center line in left hand corners which means moving it away from potential oncoming traffic. And it's fun to be able to lean your bike further down. But still we are nowhere near the limits of the bike here that's why it is safe to do it.
@jusperknusper9 жыл бұрын
+Schaaf Well, I partly disagree. Hanging off isn't required, but shifting your torso slightly to the inside will do a lot to reduce bike lean angle. He's not far from scraping pegs, which can really mess you up if you need to tighten you turn. I find a bit more weight to the inside makes it a lot easier to quickly change turn radius.
@MrHaymaker9 жыл бұрын
+Schaaf Thank you for your elaboration! I would respectfully agree to disagree :)

mir hat bisher jeder vertrauenserweckende Mechaniker gesagt, dass es, sofern es richtig gemacht wird, definitiv keinen Schaden am Getriebe verursacht. 2:59 you were very nearly a goner there lucky you were going 1 khm faster because that might of been enough to dig the peg in a bit more and the bike would of low sided, quick reactions here to stay upright. Good Job.

you need to modify it to an underseat to get more ground clearance for extra lean angle-ness

+bchant19 I would love to do so but this kind of mod would be highly illegal in Austria.
