We really simplified our lives when our kids were young. My husband changed jobs so he wouldn't have to travel, and I cut my work hours dramatically. We had to economize a bit, but we were so much happier. The house felt calmer and there was MUCH less stress. Now our kids are married with their own children, and I see them making similar choices to preserve family time. I'm so happy for you and Tyler. The years go by so fast, you won't regret slowing down a little🎃

Another way to clean berries (and prevent them from going bad) is to rinse/soak them with white vinegar and then rinse with water. It doesn't add any aftertaste but cleans and helps to extend "life" of the berries. I do it with all types of berries. Similar concept to putting lemon juice on sliced apples to prevent them turning brown.

So a little note about Casetify. I bought one of their cases earlier this year after seeing you working w them as sponsors. I had cracked my screen and had to replace it so I decided to spring for the expensive phone case since it was so protective and would last me a long time (the $20 cases I was buying would last me a good year or more so I figured this one would last much longer than those). After 6 months of having it it was just falling apart. I glued it back together on the side that was ripping apart (with tire glue 😂) and that seemed to work. A month or so later the other side started ripping apart. I was frustrated as I’d only had the case for like 7 months and for that price 😬😬. So at my sisters behest I posted the situation on their Facebook page. Another lady that had purchased their cases had the same thing happen to hers. I guess this is a flaw in their design. However, they DID reach out by i me and offered to send me a free replacement case, which was really nice. I don’t know that I’d buy another one but I’m impressed that they contacted me and made it right (which says a lot about the company). Also, it may not be all styles bc the other lady had the same case I had with just a different print. Just wanted to give my experience. That’s all 😂
