The masala or "egg taste" masala is most likely black salt or Kala Namak. Kala (Black) Namak (Salt). I have no idea how they handle or like that ish on stuff. It is so nasty and smells like farts lol. It might also be chunky chaat masala. They tend to put that on a lot of fruits to "enhance" the flavors. I was wondering, have you tried the fresh squeezed sugar cane juice? Its very good. It cost like 10-20 rupies. Definitely better with ice IMO

got to give you props for handling this alone with no friends on this trip.. i go to pakistan every year and always if i see some tourist i always just divert the locals because they do intend to follow alot when it comes to a foreign tourist. but all the pakistani people are nice people they didnt say anything bad or have hate they just love to entertain tourists .they follow you then the students the country is full of loving people but i will always recommend what every country you visit just have someone with you that knows the country.. every country have bad people too be safe and enjoy ps im from usa .... i didnt like the fact you mentioned that in america not safe,, i can say same about canada too.. peace and enjoy your journey
