First time I see the Sega CD version. Cool to hear No Pain No Gain from Scorpions as introduction song (if you watch the music video of that song, you can see some footage of the videogame, Striker and even the Germany national team singing the chorus!). Sadly, i agree that this game didn't fulfill the expectations. If John Hare and Sensible Software developed this game, the history would've different.

Man, i bought it back then for my amiga 500 and was so hyped but i didnt have 1mb , only the standard 512kb... so i coudnt play, it was super slowmo and crashed...great memories though 1994 with the worldcup usa. I played sensible soccer instead

Yeahhhhhhhh, neither Foxboro Stadium (rip) nor successor Gillette Stadium ever had Pyongyang style apartment towers and an autobahn surrounding it (Route 1 looks nothing like that)

Awful football game World Cup Italia 90 was better. This looks like it was made in 2 weeks menus are a confusing mess, graphics are poor and so is the gameplay plus no licensed players despite having the world cup licence.
