Adrian Beale Yes, it is debatable. It really just depends on what subject you’re talking about for both brands. LEGO is the leading brand, however Mega Construx has things that are BETTER than LEGO, but goes unnoticed. In reality, like I said, it just depends on what you are buying. If you want Minecraft or Star Wars, buy LEGO sets. If you want Halo or COD, you buy Mega Construx. However, it also boils down to your opinion.

I agree. I've gotten a few of their Pokémon sets and I love the double sided plates and attachment point peices lego really should make. I get the prints are expensive so whatever but it seems lego is constantly outdone partwise by other companies and even bootlegs.

The trigger piece addendum was to replace the incorrectly-molded silver ones, they wouldn't stay attached to the mechanism. The color change was an added bonus. I really like the new format for the Mega Construx Halo reviews! It feels more inclusive, rather than the one-sided feel of the original format.

I remember when I first bought a ghost from them years ago when the first came out with the sets and I thought it was meh. Years later when they pop out the banished ghost and M'dama's ghost and man the advancements they made is absolutely insane. Same is said for the figures as well.

If I was rich I would have every single halo megablocks set. But I'm not... I have a lot of the old sets but they are missing a lot of pieces from moving. Like the original pelican! I miss those days... I do see that megablocks has come very far. That set fits together so perfectly. I had so many warped pieces back then!

Jang I think you should meet a man known has goodwill Hunter because he and you as well as I could do great things if we were to work on a moc all together. I've got a 19 x19 foot moc all for the mega halo line only I spend 25 bucks a month on sets and go to a trade days event buys bricks from a guys for another 15 bucks, then hit a second and Charles for more bricks for another ten bucks. And well I'm running out ideas for my moc and I start watching your videos and then I get one or two ideas. So I'd like to think you for showing me what can and could be done.

While I can appreciate blasting loads of hot lead into a Hunter, my absolute favorite way to dispatch one is via a few humble plasma grenades.

...but in Warzone Firefight they just pivot instantly and thwack them away or back at you. Even if enough teammates are keeping a him occupied, the hitpoints on these things are so high that several Spartan loads of grenades only start to make a dent!

I used to be highly skeptical of Mega Bloks/Mega Construx, since i used to buy their earlier brick based lines. Durability was trash, design was ugly, and then after a long while i decided to buy their collector series and super-articulated figs, and now i'm completely in love with it. Really gives the "leading brand" a run for it's money.

I want Mega to consistently be better than Lego just so we can quiet the nay-sayers who think Mega is just another poor imitator. ( Slightly disappointed that you didn't show us the Hunter in some different poses. Can it do the usual "shield in front of it" pose? Also, Aw. I was kinda hoping the helmet could be removed. :P (Also, can the shield be removed? It looks like it could be...) It would've also been cool if they made the Hunter's cannon removable and made so Spartans can hold them, just like in Warzone. Anyway, still waiting for fully-articulated Jackals. They are naturally flexible and therefore do a lot of poses that NEED super articulation. Plus they're the ones constantly holding long rifles OR shields, so they need to be able to hold them with two hands. Very surprised they're doing the Jackal articulation last, considering they need it the most.
