We have the Mega Live 1, Helix G4N units and Ethernet hub. Trolling for salmon with 11” Pro-Trolls that do a 360 rotation. Have had a lot of trouble seeing much of anything. Can see the Pro-Trolls behind boat trolling around 1.5 mph or speed to get correct rythum on Pro-Trolls. Faster down river then up river into current. Any fish we have seen barely fad in and back out using Forward Mode and adjusting distance and depth. I have seen video guides have done that looked good. They are using the 15” Apex unit. Any suggestion I could try for trolling. These fish are 5 to 20 pounds so should be easy to see. I don’t have the money to buy Xplore and Mega Live 2. So trying to get what I have working.

Check out my other trolling videos on my KZbin channel. I also mainly troll, but with the Mega Live 1 in Landscape Mode. I don't view it with the Landscape View, however. I use the Down view while the Mega Live 1 transducer is physically in Landscape Mode. It works great while trolling for Stripers. My KZbin Channel is kzbin.info

Question: Would you use one unit or two using mega live 2? This is for forward and landscape mode.
@SLYFishing13 күн бұрын
@@jones1394 You could use two Mega Live 2 units as well as a single Mega Live 1 unit.
