Stellar playing and arranging aside, I would estimate that 95% of full band covers I hear of video game songs, especially from the 8- and 16- bit eras, don’t get the feel or phrasing quite right. This absolutely aces every part of the original composition. Great, great work!

There is absolutely no denying it. The Mega Man games, regardless of which story arc or generation you dive into, Command Mission, X, ZX, hell even Network, they all have amazing music and some of the best soundtracks in the gaming industry.

Something I’ve always wanted to say about a lot of your videos: You do this thing that a lot of other cover artists do in that you add little solos in the middle that aren’t part of the original composition. These are typically just meaningless noodling that make the listener go “Okay I get it, can we please get back to the real song please?” Not so with your covers. You’ve nailed the art of the solo and made those sections that I commonly disdain with other cover artists into something I look forward to in each video. It’s amazing and is most definitely a huge reason I subscribed to you. Keep being awesome

I still have all the originals on nes that my family bought back in the 80s early 90s and now I own them!!!! The same game cart's!!
