It took me a while to really appreciate the music of Mega Man 8-- I think I had to sit down and listen to the OST without hearing Mega Man's voice and a bunch of sound effects layered on top of it to really enjoy it. As for X6... I've never played it! You've piqued my interest though! I never played past Mega Man X4, actually~. Thanks again for the comments!

Love what you've done with this piece. I remember when I was fiddling around with midis years ago I attempted to make a version of Wave Man's theme from Mega Man 5 that used instruments that one would associate with Sea Shanties, like the concertina, tin whistle and the mandolin. Was curious to see if anyone else had done the same but with more successful results. Any of your associates among the music community here ever done so?

+Zavitor Thank you for the kind comments! As far as I am aware, I haven't heard of anyone doing Wave Man's theme, let alone with that instrumentation. I don't mean to call anyone out, but if you haven't heard of Banjo Guy Ollie, I recommend checking out his channel as he uses similar instrumentation to what you describe and would do a fantastic version of that music. I really like this kind of music though! Have you considered taking another crack at it? I'd love to see and/or hear your interpretation :)

Well this bass was actually from Lucy. She was a Very good girlfriend of my. She is not there anymore. This is the jumping girl with who I made the Luloop Video. I think you have seen her. I have been playing in that time the bass guitar in combination with my boss looper and some guitars, drums and so on. And sometimes Lucy and I where jamming a bit around the place. Now I do not have the bass anymore. And I can not say What bass guitar it is. And yes I play the bass like you play it in this Aqua Man. Thats why I mention that. Have a good time Steven

So did you make your own recordings of water flowing, or did you use some stock water recordings? Just asking, because I get the feeling that I heard it in a game before.

+Euchale Ichselber I create my own recordings. For this song I combined a few different stereo field recordings. I think I used my recordings titled "water from hose" and "waves 1". I will sometimes create layers-- for example, I combined two sections of my "water from hose" recording and panned them hard left and hard right in order to create a more extreme stereo spread as well as increase the randomness of the water sound. I also put those recordings along with the waves through some spring reverb to give a little extra depth. I'm glad that you noticed those recordings though! I hope they added to the experience :)

Ah, that is one of my favorite games, all megaman collection from Xbox was my favorite game on that console, it's a shame that i can't never play the Megaman X games that never was released on that console, well, amazing music, bring me back a lot of memories of this games, the water level was one of my favorite and this is from my favorite bosses, the expresions of AquaMan are so funny!, hehe, thanks for the video.
