cut scenes like this were fantastic to watch back in the day despite the poor voice acting. all the games in the early psx period(until mgs hit the scene) had shitty voice acting. resident evil and castlevania sotn being perfect examples. megaman is a light hearted cartoon at least. this stuff was mind blowing at the time (though yes the voices acting is bad) because it was the first chance you ever got to see the characters you love fleshed out. i loved these anime scenes.

I think the reason why they didnt bother doing a retake of the 1st scene is because they didnt notice him slip when he almost called Mega Man Dr. Wily. And honestly I wouldive missed it aswell since its rediculously breif and faint and pretty hard to pick up on unless you learn about it beforehand.

Basically for the voice actors of this game and those in X4: Megaman=X (Do I need to say this? lol) Roll=Iris (A bit surprised when I checked) Duo=Zero (Much more surprised than found out Roll and Iris have same english voice actor) I'm more shocked about Roll and Aquaman have the same english voice actor

And here's what I'll do: First, I'll get the best translator available on the net: GoldenUmi for GX_ST Second, the shop will at least have the option to sell you back upgrades you hate, or give you the option of testing them out before buying. Third, there will be English actors who don't sound absurd and can act better than a malfunctioning toaster! Forth, the option of JP w/Eng subs will be available. the developers really thought i was gonna sit through these cutscenes - glacial pacing, bad voice acting, bad audio mixing, Megaman just screeching and screeching and screeching while Rush just dies, and everything. anyway, was always kinda bummed out you couldn't fight the giant purple bot, always thought that'd be a cool fight. but then again considering his main attacks seem to be "wall punch" and "stare blankly while he squeezes you with ELECTRICAL FISTS!!!", maybe it would've been a lame battle anyway.
