You're right about that. The bosses were so skewed that the only real way to beat them for a casual gamer is to cheese them by going in with a PA armed, and a full gauge, or to use Full Cust Subchips.

@@FlashingBladesProductions it's a year late because i had no idea you replied to me whining but there's a few jokes to make. you already did the one about waiting for the Custom Gauge to fill in front of the boss warp. you can also make fun of us for quite a few other things, though: 1. going through specific steps to get the good ending where Zero lives only to receive the most useless Navi Chip of all time (it's supposed to hit three times and do 300 damage, but because of how invincibility works when it stops time, only one of the hits count against bosses) 2. required grinding of Pengi viruses in the Waterworks computer to get enough copies of DoubleJump to reach Bass 3. absolutely getting the fuck down when the hero theme comes on and it's the opening of the first season of the Rockman EXE anime 4. getting repeatedly annihilated by GutsMan because the jump in difficulty between him and FireMan is massive and you basically get no additional resources to help you in the meantime 5. instantly running the fuck away from any scenario when we run out of BackupChips 6. literally gambling on a slot machine in the "Arcade" computer 7. having Vietnam flashbacks when QuickMan's stage has instant death lasers even harder to navigate than they were in Mega Man 2, then laughing it off as we realize the Invis chip makes you able to cross right through them 8. frantically trying to justify Lan having the Plug-in PET from EXE 3 when the game is supposed to take place between EXE 1 and 2 9. trying to convince you that the reason we like it so much is because we're real fans that like even the spinoffs, and not because we're weebs that prefer the anime 10. trying to convince you that the LifeVirus but a different color is actually a really good final boss 11. completely abandoning the concept of Battle Chips once we max out the buster's Attack and Charge and it becomes a free unlimited HiCannon i'm sure there are more, these are the ones that stand out to me

Spoilers ahead, read at your own risk: Long story short, there are two timelines/universes in Mega Man. Timeline 1 is made up of Mega Man Classic, X, Zero, ZX, and Legends. Timeline 2 is made from Battle Network/NT Warrior and Starforce. There are multiple differences, but the big ones are: 1. Dr Light built robots in Timeline 1, while in Timeline 2 he instead chose to focus on the internet and AI. 2. Dr Light seemingly had no family other than his robot kids( Rock, Roll, Blues and X) in Timeline 1 while in Timeline 2 you play as his grandsons Lan and Hub Hikari.
