33:39. This scene is so impactful for a game in 1997. Up until this point you've seen a brash and hyperactive Tron and a boisterous dramatic Teisel. But here their characters have done complete 180's as they both come to the realization that they're about to die. Tron isn't sad she's about to die, she's legitimately disappointed in herself for failing her brother and Teisel, even now, with alarms blaring and lights flashing knows that what his sister needs is the calm comforting words that she tried her best and even though it wasn't good enough she shouldn't feel disappointed. Because that's life.

when i was a kid i didnt understand the plot, but when i got older this game scared me more since i now know what its about. the fact when megaman says "how come i can read these ancient letters?" blew my mind. and also when the main gate opens doesn't it sorta sound like something from Resident Evil? when a new enemy comes into play?. thats why capcom knows how to make games with a freaky story

I have ported the Bonne family into my D&D campaign as 'recurring villains' and it's the best decision I've ever made as a GM. I also use their theme song in their appearances. Most of my party are too young to get the reference, too!

It's pretty shocking that despite being made of blocky polygons and other hindrances to PSOne limitations, even the most insignificant character in Legends has more personality and seems livelier than any of the cast of Mighty No.9 (which is made 19 years later after the fact, not to mention that it's also produced by the Man himself, Keiji Inafune!)

I'll be honest, I like both voices. Corey Sevier's voice is a good mix of "mature" and "young", brave and risk taking but also responsible and careful. Susan Roman's voice is the perfect blend of "boyish" and "sweet". Legitmatelly concerned about the well being of others, including his loved ones. Fun fact, Susan Roman is also the voice of Sailor Jupiter in the DIC dub of Sailor Moon. You wouldn't believe how long it took me to connect the dots.

When you connect all megamans (except Starforce and EXE), this becomes one doozy of a story. lets just say that Dr. Light's dream had come true but eventually became a nightmare and lead to the fall of mankind, but one thing he assured was that there will always be a megaman (messiah) that will guide mankind to salvation. No matter how long it takes. Also 46:40 is a call back to Sigmas 2nd form from mmx.

Megaman Legends IS an anime, for all intents and purposes. An interactive anime, if you will. A VERY GOOD anime, if I say so myself. An anime that can run an N64 with a 32 MB Cartdrige. While some people hate the N64 port, I'd say it's pretty impressive.

This game really was something for a 1997 ps1 game. I remember how impressed I was at how well the characters were animated to look like 3D anime characters. Even the mouth textures had special frames for specific camera angles during cutscenes. This was the first generation of 3D console games, so graphics were often times all over the place with lots of experimentation by developers. Every game series had to have its own game engine made from scratch.
