I've seen this layout a few times myself. And I think it was on the I Love Toy Trains! show.

Never been to the Chicago Science & Industry Museum, but now I'm thinking of going. Cool that they have a model of Stephenson's Rocket.

I'm an hour from Chicago and I've been to the Museum of Science and Industry many times. It is quite a place! The model railroad is pretty impressive.

I love the train set in the museum of science and industry. I’ve gone since I was a kid. I remember watching Thomas and thinking about what the trains are saying to each other.

I live 40 minutes-1 hour away from Chicago and have been to this museum lots of times. I like the replica of the old Chicago streets (Yesterday's Main Street) and Colleen Moore's Fairy Castle the best, but that part of the museum you filmed holds a place in my heart, too.

One place I would suggest visiting is Cincinnati’s Union Terminal. It’s a really neat museum in general and has an HO layout of the entire Cincinnati area.

Ive been there in 2010 w/ the 2010 high school marching band. Didnt get to check out the entire museum, but I was in heaven when I finally saw the layout though we were pressed for time, so I didnt get a chance to see every bit of it, let alone the other locomotives. Just the Zephyr. If i could go back, that would be stop #1, and the second would be the Willis towers, stepping out on the glass box. Been 13 years and im still kicking myself in the tender for not being a daredevil, step out on the box and look down, yes, I mean it, looking down.

What an amazing display! Model train layouts are really incredible to watch. I visited the San Diego Model Railroad Museum on a family vacation to Cailfornia back in June, and it was such a cool viewing experience! It's also very cool that they have some real-life engines alongside the model ones, though it seems the information on 999's placard may or may not be accurate... I remember seeing a genuine error on a placard at the Canadian National Railway Museum when I went there in 2019 - one of Stepney's siblings, No. 54 "Waddon" is preserved there, but the placard incorrectly states that Thomas himself is an LB&SCR A1, which obviously isn't true XD But anyway, if I ever find myself visiting Chicago, I'll be sure to check this museum out!
