The consumers complaining about how long a game takes to come out and the people demanding better working conditions are two separate demographics of people. Conflating the two like some kind of vocal but indecisive monolith is a very misguided way at looking at these things. The former only care about being able to obtain access to their product in the most convenient way possible so they'll look at the leaked footage and complain about how bad it looks because they don't understand or don't care to understand how stuff gets made or why they don't get to have it yet; the latter understand this mindset but also understand the hows and whys of things being made and the fact that real hard-working people are involved in it.
