Mega bass makes rods in China with their quality control guidelines. They are made to JDM standards, but not made in Japan.

Fish Foot even though the rod is not made in Japan, the blank technology is Japanese. I am sure you will be able to tell the difference in rods made here. It would be interesting to see what you think by comparing the Loomis rods to this Megabass. Can’t wait for your fishing impressions.

Have you tried the Wndbuster yet?? Thoughts??

Ted Larrabee yes it’s pretty good but I feel that my conquest n nrx is better so far. Just from the feel of the rod and it’s not as sensitive. I will know more soon. I did brought in a 25 lbs flathead with it. Standby for update

If you compare the megabass wind buster with a legend Xtreme 7.6 medium/fast. What is the difference in blanks. I own a Legend Xtreme 7.6 in medium/light, extra fast, and in medium, fast. But I'm actually looking for a rod with a blank that falls in between.

Sanyi Weis I also have the extreme 7’6 ML. That’s my favorite rod for crappie fishing. What ever you do don’t get the new xtreme ags. It’s one of my disappointment for a rod that price. I have not use the megabass yet. Once I am done testing it out. I will do a comparison vid against the nrx, conquest, xtreme ags, tatula ags. Stand by...thanks for the comment

You got a bunch of top end rods, good for you! I was eyeing over this rod. I have some nice rods in the NRX, GLX, Daiwa Steez and SC, but haven't yet purchased a Megabass rod. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the guides on that Windbuster. I'm concerned cause it's only been a couple years since I converted all my spinning from straight floro to braid to leader. I have neurological issues with the dexterity in my fingers, but have been able to tie a double uni connector knot, which I realize isn't the thinnest in terms of passing through small guides, so I'm always concerned before buying a rod whether the knot issue is going to be a problem. Do most of all Megabass rods (I'm spinning mostly) have smaller/micro guides, and are the guides on the Windbuster micro? Would you know how the guides are on the 7'4 Enforcer? Thanx, and keep up your great videos - they serve as a great introduction to many higher end rods that most of us have to buy sight unseen!

The guide work great with braid. I use this Rod to fight 10lbs plus wiper with braids. Jbraid grand. The guide are not micro guide. This rod is my 3rd best Rod for big fish. The conquest and kistler zbone is above this Rod.

Nice. Whatever rod and reel you decide is up to you. Some are brand loyal and some diversify their portfolio. I'd say if you can afford it.....try'em all. Keep up the reviews.

Beautiful Rod. I’m curious on your thoughts after use. I would say that you have some major fishing tackle compulsive diseases, but I’m right there with you. Lol. As I type I’m waiting on a legend extreme,a conquest, and a steez svf waiting to arrive at my door. Lol. Cheers and tight lines.

Rod is great but is below the nrx n conquest. Really disappointed in the extreme ags. I will put out my final thoughts on the extreme in a few days. The wind check top Pcs was unglue when I used it in 28 degree weather. You will love the conquest. I don’t have the steez but I do have the tatula ags n I was super disappointed in that rod.
