For me, this ranks as Megadeths greatest ever composition. It may not have the aggressiveness of other Megadeth songs from Rust In Peace/Peace Sells but its unrivalled imo in the way its layered and structured from its Hard Rock opening to its Thrash Metal ending after the 'I walk alone into the promised land' lyrics. Its a gem of a track in what is a really underappreciated album.

I was a huge megadeth fan, listened to their whole discography and listened solely to megadeth everyday. Then I moved to dream theatre and king crimson and got addicted to the complex structures and deep meaning of the lyrics. In that stage I got bored with every megadeth song except this one. Can you imagine the music Metallica could have made if Dave didn't have an ego. Kill em all is still my favorite album, I didn't even know Dave was in Metallica until years after listening to Metallica. My first two albums I ever bought were cassettes, master of puppets and count down to extinction. It's crazy I feel in love with the music these guys were playing.
