I obviously everyone has their own style, also our hearing has a preference too. I think for me personally, Kiko is the one that gets closer to Marty(I know he is not in the video) Kiko is very technical but also has great feeling for Music like Marty does. Having said that I like all the of them with the expectation of Drover, I just feel Like the replaced all just killed the beautiful parts of the solo. I love Tornado of Souls solo mainly because it sounds extremely technical but more important is beautiful, is not easy to find solos that have both.

Pitrelli 2nd to Marty imo. Lots of complaint over "soul", that rendition had gobs of emotion on it. Chris Broderick third just from the flawlessness, Glen fourth for a job well done but not that memorable and Kiko last IMO just because he kind of cant lock in the Marty feel, however these guys are all massive talents and Im a big fan of all em!

@@fig1115 that's because megadeth's golden era is gone, there won't be any other song "like this one", classics had been already written, so there's no way to compare what megadeth as whole a band did years ago vs their current sound, although conquer or die is a good example to show Kiko's skills and what he can do with Mustaine's riffs, that's my humble opinion.

That was such a phenomenal album and tour. I saw So Far So Good So What and then saw Rust in Peace and the difference was night and day. Dave's stage performance was MUCH better on Rust In Peace now that he finally had someone to offload hard guitar parts to. It allowed him to be more of a frontman than just a mop standing upright shaking its head. It was the last show of the tour as well and I remember Dave was in such a good mood he came out back on stage after the show and sat down and just hung out and talked to the audience for like 30 minutes. The new lineup was liberating for him.
