Honestly when I first heard of the X Legacy Collection, One of the Things I really wanted to be in there would be the ability to Use Amours from One Game to Another like using the Shadow Armour in X5 or X3 or things like that. Heck I would have compromised with it being just a Sprite difference.

Well, from what I'm seeing, bosses seem to have some frames where they're completely impervious to anything...including the Ultimate Armor's Plasma Shot & Nova Strike. And from the looks of it, it seems that the Nova Strike only does like two points of damage, so that effectively keeps it quite honest.

Shame though one drawback here is that they're lucky X decided to play fair and use Type-8 Ultimate Armor instead of Type-4 or he'd be conjuring boss abilities like it was a basic attack and just go rip & tear!
