Zero doesn't always go maverik. Sometimes the shuttle takes out the colony and Zero survives. And sometimes the enigma destroys the collony. I'd fought x manny times on this stage as zero and took him out every time.

because he was able to say on his final moments, on X5, "Iris forgive me" because she just want peace and he did nothing to bring peace "I must stop the repliforce!". Even on X4 Zero blames Sigma for Iris and Colonel death, but Sigma replies that is totally Zero´s fault, and is true a perfect soldier is no use for peace.

OH god, now you defintely need to replay the entire X series. Better story, more characters to fight, more bosses to fight. Best music, explains story even from the Classic Megaman series. How in the flippling hell is a handheld wannabe version of the X series better and lets not forget the fact zero ...does not look like zero same for X

@SkylacedSolace Zero series is for kids, the robot models are like little kids, the design of the robots instead of looking futuristic they look like old technology. Besides X series had an epic villian called Sigma, who almost destriyed the earth not one but more than one time, the themes, visuals and everything was better in the X series, and the game looked futuristic not ancient and old like Zero series (assuming that it is 100 years later) and Z series are ultra easier compared to X series

I'd say all of those are subject to opinion. The X series didn't even really get a decent story going till near the end. ...Art style in Zero still looks like shit, though.
