I love how the Doom Syndicate was actually something before Megamind 2. It shows how the writers of Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate couldn't come up with anything for a sequel besides what was already done. And they had the nerve to change the characters in the Doom Syndicate to something different so they could pass it off as their own thing.

A new series or movie should probably focus on trying to give Hal a better life. He's done stupid shit didn't get the girl because he was being a weird neckbeard, maybe he could learn to be better or something and repay the people for all the crime he did. Megamind would probably be the one teaching him how to be more of a hero but as a direct influence rather than a fake space dad who ruined his life... Hal won't want to at first and may get upset everytime Megamind comes around to try haunting him to make him feel better but he finally gives in and takes his advice starting more training to just be a nice person and not a loser. Instead of this stupid influencer bullshit he could actually influence someone without media as more of a therapeutic friend. Let's just act like the new movie never existed.
