Oh frick... It's been so long since i was here. I was always a outcast in my school years. Now I'm 23, over all of it living my life in peace but this just still makes me feel sad. It had such a emotional impact on me back in the day when it was first released. I really love the Music Video and Song so very much. It helped me out a lot actually. I cried to this song on the floor of my room for hours, knowing that no one would ever understand me. But also this song made me realize that i didn't need anyone to understand me to get up and walk my own way. It randomly went through my mind when someone jokingly asked me "Are you happy now?" I'm glad it did, i feel so powerful now seeing how much way I've come. Thank you girsl, foe this amazing song. I hope everyone who is suffering from bullying, being outcasted and lonely can get up. I can really relate to this song. I only have one leg and I'm a burn survivor so I have burn scars over 55% of my body. I was teased I was laughed at I was made fun of. Bullying is not the answer. Stand up for those around you that you see being either pushed, mocked, name calling, etc. A lot of people in this generation tear others down just so they can make themselves look "cool" or "tough" when in reality it makes them look like the smaller person. If you are the one being bullied, it will get easier eventually. I know you may think you are "worthless" or that you don't belong on earth. Listen to me when I say I felt the same way. This is not the case tho. There are people out there who love you and care for you. Please please please don't harm yourself or think anything less than what you truly are which is beautiful. That is huge coming from me. I used to not be comfortable in my own skin. I used to think I was ugly because of my scars. I know now that it is not the case.

I get a kind of sad nostalgia every time i come back and watch this video. I remember watching when it first came out and then for the next few years and it being one of the only things keeping me going. I remember spending so many nights crying while listening to this because everything just got. so. bad. Now here i am, two years after the last memorable time i listened to this song. I escaped the old bullies by moving to a new school, of course gaining new bullies for like two months and still get choked up remember where i was. I'm not better, of course but the bullying stopped somewhat and there are some days where i'm actually glad none of my attempts worked. It gets better guys. I know you've heard that so many times, but it's true. Things don't last forever, especially bad things. You can get better. You can become happy. You're strong, even if it doesn't feel like it.

Why not try standing up? I tried standing up and my bully got in huge trouble. Or try making Internet friends to help? If anyone bullies you, walk away from them and then they'll feel like they are talking to the air :)
