The scene that touched me the most was when Danielle got the little old man out of jail and ran home to reunite with his sweet little wife - them approaching each other just melts my heart every time & was such a sweet gesture and sacrifice from Danielle. ❤️

Ever After brought me so many calm moments in my life and helped when I felt lonely. I'm 32 and just watched it again a few weeks ago. I love the message, I love the spin on such a famous fairy tale, and I just love all the characters. It's the one film I can watch back to back and my mental health just gets so much healthier afterwards. I had a moment recently where I was worried "If Drew didn't have a good time...I might not like the film anymore". And I'm so happy it was so impactful for her, and it only makes this film that much more special. The fact that it transformed her life makes so much sense why it impacted ours. Aw Drew ❤ It is so surreal for me, as far back as 7 years old my mother interduced this movie to me. At a time in my life of much trauma and pain. However, to this day, this movie for me has stood the test of time and now, whenever I'm sad, lonely or need a reminder of how much I'm loved I put this movie on and it wraps me up in a great big hug and allows me to feel at peace with myself and my childhood trama. This movie will forever be ingrained in my heart and a classic piece of movie Magick that changed my life for the better. It is amazing how something so simple as a movie about a woman looking to be loved and find true happiness .... has the capacity to change a 7-year-old boys life. Thank you. Xoxox ❤❤❤

I'm 37 and I still watch this movie as a comfort movie. I showed this movie to my autistic 12 year old son and he doesn't usually like live action but he liked this movie. I think it's the first time he noticed how much people can speak with facial expressions.

lol! I figured since this took place not too long after the Hundred Years War, with England and France going back and forth over mainland territory like Aquitaine, that there was probably a lot of intermingling happening of sorts with languages. Don’t quote me though i could be wrong on the latter part of that lol. It just reminds me of what happened with Americans from British descent taking over territories after the Louisiana Purchase. Here in Louisiana a large bulk of the state has lost their French accents over time unless you live in certain regions of the state.

I was class of 04 & we had two great girls in our class who were determined to make a play out of this for drama two class. It got approved. I didn’t have a big part.
