Simon was right not to want to try to save her because her saying she doesn't care does not demonstrate the proper attitude. This contest is for people who have dreamed of becoming a singer so if they don't care then they don't belong in this competition.

I heard that during this competition, she was going through her divorce proceedings and also a custody battle with her ex-husband over Ryder. That's a lot to have on your mind. That probably made it difficult for her. If it hadn't been for that, maybe she could've gone much further in competition because she clearly enjoyed it and was a good singer.

I don't know. From what I read, it didn't seem like they were on good terms at this time. These are only my thoughts but I think she and her ex-husband got married mainly because he got her pregnant. I mean not many girls plan on becoming moms at 21. They probably couldn't make the marriage work. That's only what I think, I don't know but that seems like what the situation was to me. She got remarried in 2011.

Honestly, I don’t think they were going to save Megan anyway. Simon did say that they wouldn’t pretend that they were going to consider saving her at the end. Also, when the judges considered using the save, they had to look not only at the contestant in jeopardy, but also at the talent that was safe. Megan had 2 shaky performances in a row leading up to her elimination, and I think that made it clear that she didn’t stack up to the high-caliber talent in that season. And she certainly did herself in with her comment to Simon, saying that she “didn’t care” - and in the end, Simon OWNED her for sure!

Glad she was out of the show, I never had like her from day 1, both of my parents liked her and her voice and I thought they're insanely nuts, proved them wrong when she got eliminated, she was a nightmare and I hated her voice!

The expression on her face at 13:35 when she's with Unute and Allison and Ryan asks Simon how many of them are worth saving and Simon says only one of them is worth saving. That surprised and worried look seems to show that Megan realizes that it's not going to be her because Simon did say the he thinks Megan is one of the singers that should be leaving. She realizes that if she has the lowest vote(which she does), there's no way they're going to save her because the decision has to be unanimous.
