rovershut22 Fight for equal pay? I don’t know the laws of your country, but it’s been the law here in America for 50 years or so that women get equal pay for equal work. In fact, if there is any argument to be had about equal pay, it’s the men’s team that should be fighting for equal pay. In the last mens World Cup, they only got 7% of the total pie they generated in revenue while the women will get to bring home 23% of their pie. Furthermore, the women get an annual salary from the federation while the men don’t. I see so many people spouting off about equal pay and they say that the men got $400M while the women only got $30M. Context is a wonderful thing, because they always fail to mention that the men’s share came from a total of $6B while the women’s share came from a total of $130M. The women are already making 3x more than the men on a percentage basis, plus the annual salary. The reason they don’t make as much at the end of the day is simple supply and demand economics. If there isn’t as much demand for women’s soccer, then they’re not going to make as much as the men. Also, not even 2 years ago, the entire women’s team as individuals all signed a CBA that they negotiated for their pay. They have no one to blame but themselves for A, not asking for more (which they really can’t do without bankrupting the federation) and B, not drawing crowds like the men do. If people want them to make more money then they should watch them and spend money on them.

A black man was elected president of America for two consecutive terms and by a wiiiiiide margin. Furthermore, white people make up the vast majority of this country’s population and it was even more so when Obama ran/won. Meaning.. he needed the white vote EN MASS to have a shot at winning and he won twice and like I already said.. I am pretty sure neither race was very close. Hence.. if America was as racist as you all love to claim it is.. Obama wouldn’t have even made it out of his own party’s primary if America was a fraction of how racist you all love to claim it is. Sure, there are still *SOME* racist individuals in the world but you will find that on both sides of the political spectrum, in both genders and in every race and in every country. “She did that because people are dying because of the racism that still rules the US.”.... who? If you’re referring to cops killing black people for no reason.. then you’re misled or naive. After all the facts are on the table, 99% of all such cases are determined to be justified. Studies show in fact, that more white men are shot and killed by cops than black people and studies also show that cops are extremely hesitant of shooting minorities for fear of being labeled as a racist.. even if it puts theirs or others lives at risk.. and a lot of cops have ended up paying the ultimate price for it. I don’t want to hear the “he was unarmed” argument either. I have seen plenty of videos where cops first tried using tasers and pepper spray and they had little to no effect on the person they were trying to arrest and I have seen plenty of videos where because the cop was hesitant of using lethal force, it ended up in a fist fight and guess what the suspect was trying to grab.. the cops gun.. and sometimes they are successful at getting it. The few questionable instances are very far and few between.. when you stack those numbers against our actual population then you see it’s a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a percent.. and not at all an accurate representation of what the average black person or minority goes through in this country. It’s verifiable that most “hate crimes” in this country are fake too.. where the supposed victim(s) made up/fabricated the incident or grossly exaggerated it at the very least. Jesse Smollet being a prime example and he ultimately didn’t even get a slap on the wrist for it when what he did could have lead to riots and people dying.. no.. he used his juicy connections with Obama and his minions to get out of it. Would that have happened if this country was racist..!?! Nope, he would have had a real rope thrown around his neck. If you wanna talk about real acts of racism and people actually dying because of racism.. I could give you show chilling articles of things that have happened recently to white people.. simply because they’re white. You should also check out “verified hate” and get back to me with your findings and tell me which race is really being discriminated against. Let’s not forget Don Lemon too.. Don Lemon: We have to stop demonizing people!! Don Lemon 5 seconds later: We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is *WHITE MEN!!* ...... What if a white guy on CNN said that about black people..?!? Pretty sure more people die in Chicago every year due to drive by’s than people killed by “white supremacist terrorist” combined every 10 years.

Zachary Waters They are paid. They brought home 23% of the total take from this World Cup while the men only got 7% from theirs. Plus, the women get an annual salary from the federation and the men don’t. It’s simple supply and demand economics and people aren’t lining up to watch women’s soccer and spend money on them like they are for the men. If you want them to make more, then watch them and spend money on them.
