Thank you for recording your anxiety. I woke up wondering my heart rate was so high when there was nothing happening. I did some breathing exercises but was so confused on why I felt that way. Seeing you dealing with the same thing made me feel so much better and more justified in how I felt instead of pretending it wasn’t happening.

Yes! I have anxiety and I often watch the same shows over and over in a rotation- friends, how I met your mother, the office and movies- parent trap, twilight, etc. And a lot of people don't get it, especially my husband who doesn't have anxiety and he rarely will rewatch something. It's just easy to watch, like you said, its comforting to know the ending and know there isn't going to be some crazy twist and your on edge, even if it's just watching a new hallmark Christmas movie or something already predictable.
@ESPHMacD3 жыл бұрын
It felt nice to hear that other people keep going back to shows and films they know the ending of. Re-listening to old Podcast episodes or watching TV reruns is just about the only thing that can calm my anxious mood, especially combined with my ADHD. Going back to things that hold the familiar space in my brain quells the speeding trains in my head. It's also the only time I'll listen to an album from start to finish, no skipping, no shuffling.

girl your personal growth is SO evident, like you've always been a delight but there's this authenticity and zaniness and self-love about you now that's so natural and okay with imperfection and open to life in all it's chaos and unpredictability and it's such a joy to see. it's funny how we all think the person we broadcast to the world/internet has to be carefully curated when in all actuality, real is ALWAYS the most engaging. it's what we love to see in other people and yet it's so easy to pressure ourselves into seeming perfect instead, so congrats on your journey and I look so forward to seeing more of it! happy for you babe x

Cute cute bar stools!! Bar couches! Whatever they are!! I am so grateful you are so real about your anxiety! That is so helpful to others that suffer from the symptoms you’ve described! People knowing that someone as talented and smart and beautiful as you can have it makes them feel normal as well! I have had it all my life and wish I could say it is easier with age but for me it hasn’t been! I do believe that if more people had been real about it I would have dealt with it much better ! It is something that can make a person feel alone and stigmatized! I thank you for addressing it so people know they aren’t alone! That means to world and makes a lot of difference! Have a great day and you’re channel is great! I look forward to your posts!
