Now suddenly Chas thinks she the better child. She will milk this to make it all Cain’s fault and not have to think about what a b and a selfish tart she has been for years. She will go oh well Cain did worse by not telling me about our secret brother or telling our mom he was back. Cain did what he thought was right to protect her. Cain is right if he told her she would have selfishly gone after the brother despite him then being bad news. He is also right, as long as Chas gets what she wants it is ok.

Cain said nothing as he knew he could not look after two siblings due to Chas announcing at 13 she was pregnant so that would be an extra mouth to feed. It maybe wrong but he did it for what he thought were the right reasons. Then he saves his brother from prison by taking the fall for his crimes. He was a teen barely out of school and he did what he thought at the time was right. He was not grown up enough to to deal with it all basically alone. It may not have been the best choose but he did it to protect Chas and her baby.

Well they may resent each other now, but give it until mid-2023 and the pair will reconcile their differences - regardless of how long it takes. I mean this ain't the first time it has happened. Chas slept with Cameron and in doing so Cain turned against her, but they reconciled their differences several months later. It may have happened again with Al, but so will the reconciling part regardless of how long it takes. All we have to do is let nature take it's course and play the waiting game for however long it takes. It's already happened countless times with a particular character and their family turning against each other - what difference does one more time make exactly?

The whole thing feels like a greatest hits tbf. We've had Cain Kills For Real Storyline, Chas dropping her knickers for a bad boy and Cain waging war on family members boyfriend's for the 9th time. Definitely a sense of Grounhog Day.

People need to stop acting like Chas is the leader of a terrorist organisation. She had an affair ffs and yes, that's a shitty thing to do but Cain's attitude here is ridiculous. It's crazy how he thinks he can blame Chas for the Kyle/Al situation. Kyle wouldn't have shot Al if Cain hadn't lured Al to a barn and started waving a shotgun around and making threats in an effort to scare Al away. Chas is an adult, if she wanted to leave her husband for Al- that's her choice (even if it's dumb)- Cain had no right to try and control the situation and he is 100% responsible for Kyle shooting Al.

Cain wouldn't have met Al in the barn and brought gun if Chas wouldn't have cheated her husband. And the reason why I dislike Chas so much is what she did to Aaron, she drove her own son out the village so she could sleep with Al without anyone knowing and telling Paddy. And then she left Eve in the car when she was sleeping with Al. She did all of that because of man who cheated her niece and blew up her business.

If he hadn't than Kyle wouldn't have done what he did. Cain has his own share of the blame in all this as well - and frankly Chas does have a right to be mad at Cain for sending Caleb away (it was cruel, even for Faith that he knew, knew that Faith was dying and chose to say nothing.)
