Cobra Commander is a five-issue comic book miniseries from Skybound Entertainment that debuted in January 2024. The series is the second G.I. Joe entry in the Energon Universe and the second of four planned miniseries detailing how the Transformers' arrival on Earth causes the creation of G.I. Joe and Cobra. Cobra Commander plans to use Energon to start a campaign of global conquest!

I haven't read the original Transformers/GI Joe crossover, but I _did_ read the Dreamwave Transformers comic (and, contrary to most, actually enjoyed the writing and find the overwhelming hate the comic's received a bit overboard), and I'm hoping Megatron's escape will alude to how he turned the tables on Lazarus. On a related note, would you be open to cover the Dreamwave comics? Specifically the first few issues, cos I'd like to know your opinion on them.
