As much as I like Frank Welker, I LOVE Hugo Weaving! Hugo was so much better for the role than Frank in my opinion because he hit it just right. He was loud when he was supposed to be loud, and he was soft when he was supposed to be soft, and that is what made his version of Megatron so frightening and compelling. You never really knew what he was going to do in certain moments.

In the Transformers films, Megatron actually looks like a sadistic mechanical alien being, which is what he's suppose to be. The concept art for these films are amazing, and the vfx team was above their time

With that taking in consideration, The original transformers trilogy, Megatron design does just that. Him chasing Sam in that building at the end of transformers one was a legit horrifying. Now the Transformers movies lacks the vibe of what the Deceptikons are supposed to be
