Considering that Ratchet has known and fought against Megatron for thousands of years, it is truly impressive that the Lord of the Decepticons still managed to manipulate him into creating the Cybermatter. _This_ is the charismatic orator and politician who emerged first from the mines and then the Pits of Kaon to begin a revolution.

It’s more of he knew this was one of the only ways to revive cybertron, so he was helping but hoping prime would eventually be able to take control of it

I feel like Ratchet would like to create Cybermatter himself and this manipulation was just making it quicker, what we see when he asks Optimus if they'll allow Megatron to rebuild the Omega Lock.

I find it funny that Shockwave says "this is no place for a one handed Autobot" when he is a one handed Decepticon

Playing on Rachet's pride, guilt, anger and very, very *understandable* urge deep down in his spark to truly Go Home after several millennia of conflict, all while telling very few outright lies. Megatron truly does embody everything it means to be a Decepticon.

I love how predaking casually took out the whole autobot squad and Optimus prime at the beginning of the episode. Really shows if predakings army was finished they would have stood no chance

Ratchet and Megatron have quite the storied history over the years. The Marvel comics had great interactions.

Love the dialog between Ratchet and Megatron. They both are very smart, that makes their talk something more than just talk between enemies. And the fact that they can adapt to different situations tho they are still in opposite sides shows how cool those characters really are. Love 'em)

The greatest weapon is not Fusion Cannons or Predacons, but the power of persuasion. This feels like the 'Weak Component' episode of Beast Machines done properly, Megatron playing on a very real psychological weakness in Ratchet's resolve.

This episode shows why. TFP Megatron. is my favorite version of the character. He's strong, smart, and manipulative. As this episode and others show you why Megatron is the big boss.

Man only 2 episodes left. Don’t lose your faith in Ratchet just yet! I like to think he’s the one autobot (aside from Optimus) that would literally never in a million years join the Decepticons. He’d die before that happened.

Their war is with the Autobots, I believe the Decepticons also choose to be stealthy to avoid any nuclear war with the humans that they can easily lose, a proof for that is season 1 episode 23 when Megatron wanted Dark energon so much he said "We annot avoid stealth"

I wonder why they only make Optimus 2.0 encounter Megatron twice*? Like why? Correct me if I'm wrong, but are they pointing out that Optimus' new form is too much for Megatron?

Yeah this is great I figured ratchet would want cybertron back like every bot and well now he knows how the cons shield there ship all he has to do is find the controls and turn them off or blow them up and they lose there invisibility to scanners then the bots can find and pull him out I am surprised how quickly the cons got the omega lock rebuilt with the limited troops and stuff but I bet the bots will be able to get the doc back all they have to do is get one of them though the con ground bridge or use that part of laser beak to find them
