In the actual SMG4 canon, Meggy wouldn't fall for that. She might cry for the characters, but she'd know it's just a movie. But I could see Tari react like this if the movie was about ducks, or Melony if the movie used watermelons, like how Axol used them in his "Two Piece"- show.
