What a novel and fresh idea giving women, who have been dispossessed from the workplace or society, the opportunity to re-engage by using practical, sensible workplace clothing and design. An effort that may be a part of what helps them to rebuild theirs and their families lives. We have a program in my city, not unlike this one, called J.E.D.I. (Justice, Economic Dignity, & Independence) for women that asks for donated clothing, specifically clothing that will assist dispossessed women return back to the workplace and society. It's worked out quite well. Well done Duchess of Sussex and her team of professionals. Well done.

Actually it is horrible idea. Those clothes cost over 120 pounds each, and only when somebody buys them from store another piece is donated to unemployed women. Supposedly to help them find work. Doesn't solve lack of job oportunities, lack of good education, and while those women try to find work, they still have bills to paid and families to feed. There is over 4.5 million children in UK living under breadline. (And many more living in poverty that just isn't official.) Average UK household budget for food is 60 pounds a week. If you have enough money to throw away 120 pounds a month away... You could have just as well put it to where it is really needed. Like food bank. Or sponsor one poor family. But handing out expensive clothes that just ,might' help you find job, while you're starving...(and most parents whose children live underbreadline are, because they cut from their share of food to give to their kids) just tells you how trully ignorant she is of how things are.
