My sister however was, and still is a Meghan Markle defender and thought Piers was just being a bully and a racist and a misogynist. It's funny how we look at people through a different lens. When I first heard about Harry dating M first I had never heard of her and I’m American. After the engagement interview my first impression was that there something very off about her. I have followed the Royal Family for a long time and I can’t express how angry it makes me the way the 2 of them have caused so chaos. It is time for H to leave the US. He has stuck his nose in American politics where it does not belong not mention his comments on free speech add to that all the talk of his drug use. Our country has enough problems without him sticking his nose in where it does not belong. I would say he needs to back to the UK but I’m not sure they want him back😂. As for M while she has too many issues to name I do not blame her for all the things H has said and done. He is a grown ‘man’ and the things he has said and done to the late Queen and Prince Phillip not to mention the other family members especially The Princess of Wales are inexcusable. The hype was squarely on the US man’s agenda, the average American didn’t care to follow through with this mess. So if people did have conversations many Americans were either out of the loop or were digesting was the US msm were delivering. The die hard supporters are a part of the loud minority that is turning into being exposed as either bots or activists. At the time the Oprah interview came out, my estimation is that 1/3 were Harkle fans, 1/3 were part of the Megxit community mindset, and 1/3 were out of the picture. What were now seeing is roughly 3/4 Americans see through this couple and only 1/4 supposedly still support this couple. The issue is that the American msm is an echo chamber of contrived virtue signalers that those outside of the country and caught on later don’t understand how distorted the way how the msm presents the story vs what the average person thinks. The msm is full of elites who have lost any connection to the average person, there is a severe gap of communication because of this. And it drives me nuts as an American early Megxiteer hearing people outside the country say “Americans are finally waking up” when a good percentage of the Megxit community were Americans trying to warn the Brits! If no one believes me check out Ashli from Danje Zone as she was one of the first KZbinrs who was researching and reporting this couple along with Wally and other members. A lot more Americans than are credited tried to warn exactly what was going to happen but no one listened to us. Plus our country had other issues at the time, so this couple wasn’t at the forefront like it should have been.

As one of the early Megxiteers, American at that, Piers was that one person who was speaking common sense and highlighting the flags one by one as they came up. He was at first a big fan of the union and had hopes he was going to be continuing to be part of Markle’s social group but he was not needed like she thought. What really got Piers into the warning stage was when he interacted with particularly Thomas Sr is when Piers was able to see that if that messed up woman had no guilt to publicly dump her father on an international stage and practically set him up by not helping him with the media pressure, she was a cold and callous woman. As much as I would have wished Piers didn’t have to go through what I consider as the walk through the fire by leaving his job because his network was being dictated by that tyrant in Montecito, he ended up growing a lot going through that and at the end, he ends up being the one with admiration for standing up for his beliefs and principles of free speech.

When Meghan came to the UK on that fateful trip -- the whole focus was on networking for her personal agenda to get an influential gig, and a wealthy British man to go with it. I remember when Piers launched that critique. Harshly worded - as is his style - and it did sound a bit like a guy that felt used. But he wasn't wrong. Great to hear about Lizzie and Millie. it does really help you get a sense of Meghan -- much like the information that Tom Bowers put in his book....

Of course I couldn't stand the lies etc but what made me really mad was when Harry said he had lost his security. He said this was a privilege that I was born with. .....it is owed to me. I am an American and it just stuck me as so entitled and arrogant. It was after this when all the lies started coming to the light. Of course after that I started learning more about the Royal family and I really admired the Queen. The book SPARE was another thing that made me not like Harry I believe it shows his true character. My grandmother had a special name for people like MM. My grandmother grew up in Auburn MA here in the states. A very Victorian family though they were Swedish. It sounds like Lizzie is a bubbly and outgoing person who doesn't have time for grudges. She seems to enjoy her life the way it is. Even though Piers Morgan is right about Meghan, I always feel some reserve towards him. Even more so after the "Mizzy" interview. Meghan might have tried to get his contacts as well, but he wouldn't have been on Meghan's radar as a love interest. He would have seen through her if she tried love bombing him. Nellie sounds like someone who Meghan could manipulate the most out of the three. I'm not sure Nellie "gave" her her contacts. She sounds like someone who at some time would have been trusting enough to leave her phone at the table while going to the bathroom.

I remember watching GMB,and piers was happy about mm and harry getting married.He talked about her ghosting him,and he said he understand because prince harry would not want her to be involved with him blc he hates the press.He wasn't pissed because he was ghosted. I think when he interviewed her dad,his opinion about her started to change.

Piers was at first happy for Meghan and Harry. So I don t think he thought he would be involved with her at any point. Meghan is not that beautiful. Her looks are average with a lot of plastic sugery.

I wish Andrew Morton had not called her "A Hollywood Princess", nor described her as "leggy and glamorous. . . a stunner." I cannot see it! Her legs are short and skinny, she is only moderately attractive, and she is NOT a "Hollywood Princess" or a Hollywood ANYTHING. Nor is she remotely a princess. He may have been sarcastic in his title, but it has given the public a very skewed view of her. Most people take things at face value, and that description of her, which SHE would LOVE, has taken hold in the public view and even among journalists. I still hear "Hollywood actress" all the time, which is as lame and inaccurate as "the young couple", which I also still see. Buzzwords and catch-phrases multiply like bacteria, and it's hard to get rid of them and the way they distort perception in both the public and the media.

For a long while, it was a brave journalist or commentator who would dare to criticize Ms Markel. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Markel herself contact the head of the tv station that employed Morgan and made some demands, and an ultimatum was delivered to Morgan. He either apologize or he leave. That is some abuse of power there, gee whiz. Then his friend Sharon Osborne stood up for him on some tv show in America, and was also shown the door. There was some pretty ugly things going on at the time, and people seemed too afraid to criticize her, including just everyday members of the public. Seems to be that Lizzie was smart, she figured her out, and thought it best to keep her mouth zipped until the tide had gone out a bit.

There is no one I know in the US that even heard of Meghan Markel much less supported her. Whoever supported her must have been an elect few that lived in California or who she paid.

Agreed. No one knew Rachel Megan in the USA. Suits was filmed in Canada. We only knew about her after Harry said she was his girlfriend.

Strangely, and I'm not a big fan of Piers, but I supported Harry and Meghan leaving the UK, possibly moving to Canada and their privacy. Until...the Oprah interview and the verifiable lies she told. I have been outspoken since and have been called a racist, lost mutual followers/acquaintances on social media, and lost a friendship of 6 years. It was very painful at the time. Now? I no longer care what they think. Oh, and they are now very quiet about their MM support. No apologies yet and I doubt they will be forthcoming.

6 years of friendship thrown away because you disagree about something. I say God bless and good for you. Those people were not friends then. My best friend and I disagree on a lot of things. Meghan is a user. Is that a description of a networker? Lizzie was a door mat in her relationship with Meghan which is a solid reason for being dropped. Millie too, was a people pleaser. Piers was/is a married man with children and probably more wordly, and certainly less beguiled by Meghan, than the two younger women.

Very interesting video, Shauna. I had always thought Piers was romantically interested in MM. Narcissists are an interesting lot. And that explains what and why MM acts (no pun intended) the way she does. Although, she does put on an act very often as well.

No I honestly believe he admired her (bit of a fan) but I don’t think it was romantic. I also think he realised her ability to be dangerously charming before many and found it impossible to convince others because he came across as a jilted boyfriend! I am not a Piers fan so I think I am being quite objective! 😂💗

It's interesting that Piers Morgan seems to have a good relationship with the York sisters. The sisters do not seem concerned about what PH or MM thinks about their friendship with Piers Morgan. Good for the sisters. I don't think PE is too happy with PH.🤷🏻‍♀️

Of course Harry despises Piers Morgan, in his words Harry doesn't know the half of it, or to the extent on just how much input Diana actually had on the British Press . . .She knew how and when to play them to her advantage. Certain tabloids even gave thumbs up to Diana when Charles or Camilla were about to hit the front page, that way she would take the lime light and i didn't blame her for that at all. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The biggest difference is Diana was very intelligent .. Harry is a fool.
