Miller couldn't wash the shampoo out of his hair at his apartment because his water ration ran out. Julie had a full, unused water ration (and being wealthy, she had a larger ration than he had). That's why he used her water. It's important to understand how restricted the water is on Ceres, because the Canterbury was bringing their next shipment of water...and now the Canterbury has been destroyed by an unknown group. Alex (the one with the kid) was mumbling about "One more trip, sweetiepie, and I'll be home" when he was hypoxic. That says something about his home life. Amos said he couldn't determine whether it was right or wrong to kill Holden, but depended on Naomi to tell him. Notice how he always looks to her for such decisions.

I like how Julie's dating profile name is "Delightingale"! XD Most people who start this show need to be 'nudged' a little to get past the first four episodes(because that's when it REALLY starts to get good!), but you don't seem to be having that problem! You seem pretty into it already, and I think that's awesome! Trust all of us who say, it's just gets so much better! ;) Also, I find it interesting that you seem you really like Holden right out of the gate. A lot of people find him kind of...grating at first, you might say. But these characters all grow and change in really interesting ways! I look forward to seeing how your opinions of them form as the show goes on!

Oh, yeah. The characters and the cast are absolutely phenomenal. I'm stunned every episode, even when re-watching. There's only 1 or 2 scenes in the whole show that broke that mould and felt liket hey weren't acted to the same standard. Everything feels incredibly real, convincing, gripping. It's one of the things that elevates this show above many others. It's more a work of art than a run of the mill serial production.

Another great thing about the show is that there are no truly good guys or,bad guys. Every character has their point of view (POV), and you’ll understand why they behave the way they do…even if you don’t agree with them Al’s o, the thing the lift operator pulled off the wall and ate was a “mushroom.” The prop mushroom was made of marzipan. ~The actor hated it and spat it out, ruining a few takes. 😀

As others said the cliffhangers in this show are so frustrating yet so damn good. You're lucky to binge this now. Most of us were usually "DON'T END LIKE THAT UNTIL NEXT WEEK...FUUUUUU." 😆 I'm glad you like the characters so far as seasons progress you'll meet new characters that are just so well written.

Oh, this show is such a wild ride, you won't reach the base level of the craziness scale until the last episode of this season, and you won't reach level 10 until the ending of season 3 Not even at 1/10 level yet, buckle up.

Yeah, humans in the Expanse seem have gotten past most of the old prejudices. Sexism, Racism, Homophobia, Transphobia, all are not really present in the world of the Expanse. Which is awesome to see. But at the same time, we've replaced them with new prejudices. Earther, Martian, Belter. Dusters and Skinnies. Tribalism is hard-coded into our DNA, it's a very hard thing to shake, and we humans are really good at finding and creating reasons to hate each other.

You just finished what is almost universally considered by fans to be the least best episode of this six season series. I almost said "worst". No episode of The Expanse should be associated with that word. You appeared to be totally entertained by s1.e2, so I fear for your life once this train actually leaves the station and accelerates into the unknown. The intensity level skyrockets from this point forward all the way to the finale' of s.3. You have exhibited a tendency to love characters based upon how you want to label them as "good" or "bad" people. To produce drama, just about every TV show quickly lets you know who are the good guys, and who are the bad guys, and lets the battle between good and evil serve as the core entertainment of the show. Ponder for moment how many people you have met in your life who are instantly identifiable as evil, or, for that matter, angelically good. Pure good, pure evil, that's not how real life works, and that's not how things are portrayed in The Expanse. It's world is not morally black or white. There are infinite shades of grey in between those two extremes. Just appreciate the characters for how human they are, like Havelock giving that little cactus to his new hooker friend. One pleasant oddity in this show is the many times the characters are so damn human that you will burst out with a comment, and the exact same words of your comment will be the next line of dialog spoken in the show.

One of the greatest things about this show is that Avasarala's interrogation of the belter, is a set-up for later, that doesn't really begin to resolve until the END of season 4. The interrogation is essentially the beginning of the events for seasons 5&6!
