If I had to pick characters for wave 19 I would add Nurse Chapel and Janice Rand. You could complete the original bridge crew, and have the Star Trek dresses for more crew Customs.

Thanks for answering the question of why the Andorian is so blue! We don't like to quibble about things like that in such a nice figure but its hard to turn the ol brain off when it asks questions! Great video!

Thanks for the review. These are some great-looking figures. I'd like to see a Tholian done Mego-style. It could be a standard male buck with a fancy head that extends down to cover the chest and back. Both figures are great, but the Talosian is my favorite. Always wanted one. The only thing I don't quite like is how dark the veins are, but anyways, a great figure. Also, thanks for bringing the old music back!

No way Mego would do it, but I'd LOVE to see (and purchase) a Lt. M'Ress from the Filmation animated series. The biggest stumble block with be the feet. Screen accurate digitigrade "kitty feet" would make the doll impossible to stand on its own. But slapping on boots would make me want to chew on nails (the metal variety). The head would also be tricky. "rooted" hair at that scale is a b*tch to style accurately, but a s sculpted screen accurate "mane" (full and cascading as it is) cast as part of the head would severely limit the ability for that body part turn side to side. So even if she were a "fan favorite" (and I acknowledge she's such is NOT the case), those systemic issues would make her a "high risk".

@k2sworld Yeah, I was gobsmacked when I learned Hallmark was going to do that. Originally planned to only be available at 3 separate convention events one had to attend in person to buy, like most things, it made its way online, so I was able to get it. The M'Ress figurine currently rest upon my PC desk, just under the left hand monitor.

I sometimes just make lists for fun. Recently made one of Mego Star Trek aliens if they had used a rational selection criterion like "appeared in more than one episode". Next, I want to research that proposition and found that very few fit-the-bill back in the days of strand-alone episodic story-telling. So, only Klingons, Romulans, Andorians, Tellarites and Orions truly qualified. Talosians snuck in on the technicality of being in both the rejected pilot and subsequent two-parter. The Salt Vampire only gets in if you count her second appearance as _taxidermy_ in Trelane's mansion. :) Incidentally, I discovered that stuntwoman Sandra Gimpel played both the Salt Vampire and a Talosian. And finally, how cool would it be if an Orion shared the same body as Batgirl, in a nod to Yvonne Craig playing both. :)

Great video! The "smurf blue" Andorian is a big fail... and agree with you that the Talosian should have been on a shorter body (surely they had ones left over from their initial run of undersized solid body figures)... but otherwise, these figures are top drawer. Now bring on Trelane!
