You know, when your parents name you Moon McDare, your future occupation options are going to be somewhat limited.

Another great video showing some truly fun stuff. I haven't collected mego figures in a long time and now I want a bunch of those weird overstock figures in bags. Especially if Aquaman can carry around gloves in his belt like that, haha

I love that the Star Warriors headers are going back to the Gold Key Trek comics. I’d definitely want to get those mix and matches--obviously from an AU where the doctors and science officers have red shirts, which puts an interesting spin on landing party duty. The wrong uniform colors also hearkens back to the very early Gold Key years where most characters had the wrong uniform colors. I’ve never seen a Moon McDare in person, always wondered if it was a failed line-just before the company folded IIRC; all those bad James Bond race cars sets that didn’t work and got returned… tsk tsk. Have you seen any apes figures in Trek outfits ? That would be so cool; I’ve long believed that nearly any Mego figure could be dressed up as one of Kirk’s 430 crew. Kind of a cool fantasy to have 400 Starfleet officers near my Trek book collection. Very cheap custom army, as it were. The Star Maidens and Galaxy Maidens look cool as well. I would love to find those, too. I haven’t seen the magazine issue with the Galaxy Maiden, but from the shots you had in this video, her face reminded me slightly of Maya from Space: 1999’s second season. The name rips off Star Maidens, but the show tipped off both 1999 and Doctor Who, so it’s all good in toy collecting, right? (I also collect the fashion dolls--the 6.5 inches starting with Deluxe Reading Go-Gosh, Topper’s Dawn, Palitoy’s Pippa, and a large number of competition lines from Mattel and tons of knockoffs…thanks to an ex for getting me into then. lol) Awesome videos! Thanks a ton, my good sir!

@BrickMantooth Hahaha!! Thanks man!! I work as a barber, and my working day is like that Might T Sharp barbershop from Coming to America, banter all day long, I have 2 types of humor, the art of deliberately miss-hearing parts of a conversation and then scatter gun stupid shit, my comments above are the latter😀

Your videos are always fun to watch and this one was no exception! I enjoy the myriad of combinations some of these knock off or seriously "cast off" figures come in. It shows that one company's garbage is another company's treasure as long as they can come up with some colorful package artwork!

Hi, the Tommy Gunn astronaut did have a similar belt and helmet combination to the Captain Action Flash Gordon, but there were differences. The Tommy Gunn belt didn't have the holster and the helmet had a movable visor whereas Flashes visor was fixed. Thanks for the great videos you produce.

I'm curious, if defects get sold to another company, let's take your Star Trek knock offs for example, if Paramount gives the license to Mego but then see knock off Mego Star Trek figures in a store, do they shout at Mego? Or were these defects in a warehouse sold off after the license expires/or Mego goes out of business? Just curious, I love your knock off videos❤❤❤ Also, someone should go through your mismatched Mego WGS and make a Marvel/DC universe comic where all the characters look like them. Like Aquaman shows up with one Batman glove and one tucked in his belt. Also, who's the silver and red guy with the crazy face on the shelf at the beginning of the video?!?!
