Deadman is my favorite from this wave. If you'd have told me just a decade ago that one day there would be a Mego action figure of any of these characters, I'd have thought you were crazy, but here we are, and it's a good place to be.

Honestly I think this is the best Mego wave since they came back. It's so nice to get more characters to expand on the original world's greatest line up. With McFarlane finally hitting their stride with Super Powers and the Mego DC 50th figures I'm in vintage DC heaven. My favorite from wave 18 is definitely Dr. Fate (which is probably obvious given my profile picture), the outfit and the details are just perfect on him!

the joints were hard to ALIGN on mine- at first i thought they were immobile. even had to pull up the sleeves/pants legs to help me visually. What a great Wave- making my video on them the next couple days. Congrats on your milestone! love the Mego Museum & keep a link up on my toy blog!

Brainiac, for my part. He’s a character with more rare colors on his costume, compared to soooo many red/blue/yellow/green or black/white super-heroes. It gives a 60’s look, more naive and innocent feeling (even for an angry villain) = perfect for a toy, like the very simple aspect of many Legion of S.-H.’s costumes of that era, when anybody wearing colorium pyjamas was « super »! In the 70’s when i was a child, Brainiac was the first Superman’s enemy that i was able to identify… at the time, i even believed that Brainiac WAS Luthor when this last was not green !!! It was before i learned to read, eh eh, so the characters that i liked were more flashy and fancy - nothing in « civilian » designed people like Luthor, Alfred, Loïs or Gordon. About this video up : I would have enjoyed a comparison between FTC’s Justice League and DC figures, i guess, but the animated shorts with other size-partners guys in your video is so fun. The unboxed pair is gorgeous, as those two characters are in my top 4 from that wave: Firestrom, Fate, Tornado and Brainiac figures got this original WGSH groove that I admire so much. Colors, painting, simple head-sculpt on Firestorm, shinny logos and fabric… all this that Mego offered to my eyes and my heart in childhood. I really Love DOCTOR FATE My Mother was an Amateur Egyptologist and in addition to any comic books that featured the Good Doctor (such as “Justice Society of America”) Mom made sure that I got Dr. F in The Super Powers Line. I agree with You, Brian that I prefer the Non-Removable Helmet Version; because if You remove Nabu ~ then You revert back to archaeologist Kent Nelson 💥

I am glad you made 20K!!! Congratulations. Loved mego as a kid. I missed out on the 50th Shazam and secondary market is not kind. If I am lucky enough to win, Dr. Fate would be my choice. I love the Dr. FATE figure. When I was a teen I made a Dr Strange Fate figure from the DC/ Marvel comic series Amalgam line. Would love the real deal. Great critique of the figures. Love to watch them.

I put money down for Bizarro and was really happy with the figure. As Brian said they look even better in hand. One of my figure’s knees was tight, but I adjusted the angle of the bend and that seemed to work. Bizarro was my Fav of the Wave, but for contest purposes Two Face would be my runner up choice. (Happy to see another MOC episode, btw!)

I got a Red Tornado and his leg broke off as soon as I took it out of the box. I got everyone else and on most of them I had to take the clothes off to fix the joints because most of the arms and legs were backwards . My favorite figure from wave 18 is Two-Face. That face is amazing and the addition of the Mego coin with scratches was BRILLIANT!!!

I picked up the Deadman, Firestorm, and Dr. Fate. All are great, but Fate looks the best. However, Firestorm is a long time favorite character, so I'm going with him. I would love to see a MEGO Warlord!!!

Like your son, I love my second-string DC characters. Close call on this wave as Dr. Fate and Deadman are two of my all-time favorite characters. But I have to go with TWO-FACE. I'd have killed for this back in the 70s. Loved his new appearances by Adams at the time.

Firestorm and bizarro I just like the way they look awesome but all of them really looks cool so I have to get them all not passing on none iam 55years old I have all most all of the original Migos world’s greatest heroes and I have all the new ones except for wave 18 looking forward to getting all of them too and I hope Migos keep it going just can’t get enough of these❤
