I miss Rory Gallagher and I always will, Rory was an easy man to like, he was a brilliant guitar player, songwriter, storyteller, frontman, historian, a man who was just in the business of making great music with not hipe, Rory loved telling stories of the great blues and great rocking musicians, Rory was also a gentle and kind man, he could be your friend from down to road. Yes, Rory Gallagher was an easy man to like and love because of his music and was he as a man. Now I have to be satisfied playing Rory's music on one of his old guitars

I love the closeup of Rory's hands while he's playing, it gives great insight into his picking style while playing slide. Most slide players have used only their fingers over the years but Rory's chicken pickin' technique is on full display here. As a guitarist who has been influenced by Rory more than anyone else, this video is really helpful
